Exclamation Moderation of new blogs have been made more flexible

I've changed a few things on the moderation of new blogs, since last Friday new blogs needed to be moderated by someone from the thumblogger team. When the blog was approved it would be visible.

From now on not yet approved blogs are visible when you login. This will allow you to already play with a non approved blog. Making it less painful that you have to wait for someone to approved your blog.

I hope this makes it all a bit better.

It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but one I'm willing to endure. I'm sure it will cut down on sploggers abusing thumblogger and raise the image of thumblogger in the adult webmaster community.

What worries me is that I often create a blog, then begin posting on it, then a week or two later I make it look nice (customize it) and link it to my others.

What worries me is will a moderator look at it a day after i create it then after seeing nothing done with it, delete it?

Should i set up a few posts on the same day i create a new blog?

No need to worry, 99.9% of the blogs are accepted.
You can safely start working on your blog while it isn't approved yet.

I will make the message a little more clear though.

Default Bad idea

I really don't think this is a good idea. Now you have to wait till your blog gets accepted and then you have to wait again to get accepted by blog directories. Personally when I make a site I want to start sending it traffic the day it is up not 2 or 3 days later

Any website needs time to build it up. 2-3 days is the minimal time I think.
It's very suspicious when you need your site work fast. Looks like attempt to build spam network with low quality content.

That sure is a long time, can you post (or PM) the subdomain of your blog that wasn't accepted?

Thanks
