You might wonder why there is maintenance again (this maintenance only slows down the control panel, blogs will stay responsive), it is because i have to clear the cache once in a while. The cache has grown to about a size of 95 GB and it takes a while to delete 95 gig of files.
But don't worry yesterday i developed a better way to clear the cache, it won't slow don't the control panel as much as the current way to clear the cache. It is much more efficient. So when the current cache is cleared all slowness of clearing the cache will hopefully be history! ![]()

I stopped the maintenance, because it is almost day for most of us.
It will continue tomorrow morning (CET timezone).

Maintenance ongoing again.
This time for the last time, the next time the more efficient and faster way of clearing the cache will be used

The new way of clearing the cache works great, i did it for the first time this morning and the server didn't go nuts
I will automate it so that the cache gets cleared everyday.
