Thumblogger has been successful moved to a new server

All blogs at thumblogger have been moved to a new server.

If you can see the login page:
http://www.thumblogger.com/thumblog/login/login.php
Then you are on the new server.

If you don't yet see the login page (but a message saying "maintenance") then you have to wait a while. It is also possible that you can reach the control panel but that updates you make don't show up on your blog. This is because your computer still thinks the blog is on the old server. Please wait a while, you computer will automatically go to the new server and you will be able to see your updates.

If you can see the message "images.thumblogger.com on the new server" on:
http://images.thumblogger.com/
Then you are on the new image server.

Please note: the blogs on the old server and new server are functioning normal, so you won't loose any of your traffic/hits.

The interface for external editors have been stopped on the old server. It is active on the new server.

Rss2anywhere and gallery2blog are temporary not posting messages to blog but will likely be turned on again this evening.
Update: ^^Both are working again!

This time this move has been done as smooth as possible. No downtime

[edit3] Blog posts of type Gallery didn't work on the new server, they now do. Cropping images is also working again.

[edit7] I just checked and the old server almost has no traffic anymore:

Meaning almost all surfers/webmasters are on the new server.

I think that you created this blog on the new server, but when you access "amateurcumshots.thumblogger.com" then you are still on the old server. You will have to wait a little while.

[edit] it is active on the old and new server, make sure you don't make a typo in the subdomain.

We just keep moving

Just kidding. The old (2 weeks old) server wasn't 100% stable, everything ran fine, but for example mail sending was bugged. I have good faith that this new server is better, because it is a exact copy of the server that runs sensualwriter.com, adultblogresource projects and myfeedlist.com, and that server runs fine.
Lucky this time everything goes without downtime.

Hi Tawn, I have found a problem. Not sure if it's related to the move.

When posting pics to blog using the replace.gif url, the pics are not appearing on the blog. What I get is 'the title of the post in place of the pic'. I can hyper link to a gallery, but like I say all I am getting is a line of text instead of pic. I have pressed F5, no difference.

What do you get when you access:

Do you get a message saying "images.thumblogger.com on the new server"?

I get a 403 error off that link you posted twan.
When i try to update my blog ..it does not update it on the blog itself

When you can reach the control panel then you are on the new server. But when you can't see any changes on your blog then your computer still things your blog is on the old server. Don't worry, the changes you make are visible for most of your surfers.
