Default Bottom Links to "previous weeks" gone?

Each of my blog used to have the following links in the bottom of the first page:

And for some reason, i check today and they 're all gone, which means, surfers can only access the first page of the blog

Any idea?

Interesting. I just checked my blogs, and looking through the archive they're all like that for this year, but are back to normal when you get into last years posts.

Are you adverse to having the archive box up until it get's back to normal?

The "Next" link is good but I soon realized that a special page for Next/Archives with a button/link to that page visible worked much better. Got visitors to dig deeper when having that option for visitors. The whole pile on of "archives" took a lot of space on blog and the "Next" link was a bit small to keep them go for it!

just added a dropdownbox instead of the archive (thanks Nick) - like it like that. While creating that box I found a reason why the nav might be broken.
There's a difference between before and after 2009:

i also have this problem. I just feel like I need that NEXT button coz if i limit the number of log entries on the first page, people would miss the rest of the entries.

Twan, archive weeks links are still doubled on my blogs. I added a few posts to the one blog that I pm'd you, as you suggested, but that doesn't remove the doubles.
