My blog has not been indexed by Google yet altough it has plenty backlinks, may the reason be something spammed at its URL?

Without knowing too much about it, it's hard to say with any degree of validity.
How old is it? How much content is there? Is it handwritten or copy and pasted? How much other code (java scripts, iframes, etc) is there, and are any considered blackhat (redirects, popups, etc)? Where did those backlinks come from? Did you hand submit to specific sites and directories or use a service that may have submitted to "bad neighborhoods"?

Send me your URL to my ICQ or col.mike7 at yahoo.com and Ill get it indexed for you. Even a hosted sponsor gallery of mine got on 1/220mil last night with the only difference to other pages being my affiliate ID...
The only couple of my blogs that are off SEs had duplicate titles and content, my others indexed just fine and most stay in the top 10 of related keywords. The ABR submitter and alternate submitter give great backlinks and I recommend smart linking. Also, if you submit to SEs, don't submit too often (some say once a month, I try to batch a huge list every 4 months..) Also, use image alt tags for eventual great image search traffic. Edit: Just noticed that it's now #9/602mil, but then clicked search again without changing anything and it's back to #1.. Did Google just do an update?

If it is new don't worry but if it's old enough and still Google don't index it. Check your robot.txt maybe it is noindex or check your codings... Search if you have a noindex code... Just my suggestion
