View Full Version : Spank wire down?

Is it just me, or are all of you having a problem going to the link submission page at spankwire. If I go to www.spankwire dot com it loads fine, but if I go to the other url to submit links...don't know it off the top of my head...I get some kind of failure to open data base error.

Any one else?

It's been down since late last night. Their SQL database user password is incorrect, at least that is what it said in the error message last night.

Don't know when they plan on fixing that and considering it's the weekend might not be till Monday but guess we just have to wait and see :(

That's a drag! At least we have the other social bookmarking sites. :)

Might be kind of a blessing in disguise for me...in it's absence I've discovered that socialporn sends me a lot of hits. I found it to be a pain in the ass with the whole karma thing when I first tried it. Since spankwire was down I figured I'd post a few at socialporn.

Guess I'll stick with social even when spankwire comes back up. :t:

Yep. I've noticed no one's been in the "rejected" bin the past week+, so I've been back on it a bit more. There was a while there that that was happening with a large handful of people - mostly all blogs, so I'd cut back from it. Hopefully it stays that way.

I remember you having said that. I did believe you, but I didn't realize how nice the traffic really was. I know now!
